BRAKE-0-MAT DC brake contactless control device is used to supply DC power to the DC brake, and also to feed the stored energy of the DC brake back to the grid when the DC brake is powered off. This device is suitable for controlling DC brakes with a voltage of 220V-440V.
When this control device is started, it outputs a DC voltage of 1.35 times the input voltage value within 4 seconds, used to strongly excite the DC brake to open, and then outputs a maintained DC voltage (adjustable via potentiometer) to keep the brake open.
When the DC brake is powered off and reports a trip, this control device inverts and feeds the stored energy of the DC brake back to the grid, allowing the DC brake to quickly trip.
