Meiheng

On April 12, 2017, the Meiheng Company badminton competition was held at the Tengfei Sports Center in the High-tech Zone. The events included men's singles and mixed doubles. To enhance team spirit and 'intimidate' opponents, each team member or pair specially named their team with catchy names, such as: 'Huluwa Combination', 'Liangjian Combination', 'Ronald Steel', 'Nicholas Dapan', etc.

Before the match, everyone drew lots to form teams, and I explained the 'Meiheng Badminton Competition Rules' to my colleagues. To accommodate the non-professional female players, I, as the rule maker, made the greatest effort— the mixed doubles rule is: as long as it doesn't go out of bounds, just get it over the net.

The competition took place in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere.

Although we did not have professional referees and we are not professional players, this did not affect our mood for the competition at all. The players were in high spirits, the matches were intense, laughter was constant, and applause was continuous.

The audience was unwilling to be just the 'background' in photos.

During the final championship match, the men's singles showcased professional standards, with both sides demonstrating their skills and potential to the fullest, making the match very exciting. The mixed doubles match was evenly matched, with the score tightly contested, making it difficult to distinguish between the two sides. The audience watching on the side frequently cheered, encouraging the players.

Enjoying participation, finding happiness within, more joy, all in the Meiheng team!

Fully immersed in the competition.
